Stellar W'S GTX is an agile boot compatible with crampons for high-altitude mountaineering, as well as for fast ascents on rock, mixed terrain, snow and ice, and climbing.
Its secret lies in the new construction technique used for the sole unit: the foot is directly placed on the double-density PU midsole, maximizing cushioning and ensuring precise foot placement while providing shock resistance on rough terrain.
Thanks to its anatomical construction, the precision and technical features of this mountaineering boot are enhanced by a feel closer to that of an ultra-comfortable hiking shoe.

SOLE
The innovative Vibram® Stellar sole unit has been designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb design that lightens the structure, improves thermal insulation, and offers excellent cushioning.
The midsole is made of double-density PU foam, and it sits above the perforated PU insole, which also reduces weight and increases torsional stability.
The sole unit has an integrated flange for a semi-automatic crampon, making it the perfect partner for your alpine adventures.

UPPER
The foot-conforming upper is made of microfiber and abrasion-resistant fabric, featuring an extremely durable rubber toe cap at the front.
The elasticated bellows tongue open on one side fits the leg and ankle perfectly without overlapping or pressure points: the fit is even more comfortable thanks to the lightweight protective edge and the Lycra cuff.

LINING
The lining features the Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane ensuring total waterproofing and breathability.

FIT
The differentiated modular lacing system fits the instep perfectly and ensures an exceptional precision fit, further reinforced by the advanced asymmetrical positioning of the closure allowing for correct flex.
The Kayland ankle lock system protects the ankle and holds it firmly in place while allowing for completely natural movement. The heel is well anchored, and the ergonomic padding prevents blisters.
