A Midgard tent can be set up with just two poles in the main tent, plus the A-frame at each entrance. However, it can also be reinforced and stabilised by adding two extra poles. You'll still be able to enjoy the "pole-free" experience that the Midgard is known for, as none of the poles take up space in your living area.

Of course, the poles also serve as spare poles, giving you the option to significantly extend the lifespan of your Nordisk tent. So, if you lose, break or bend one of your poles, no worries: simply swap the damaged pole for a new custom replacement pole. Even if nothing is broken, having a set of spare poles is handy for extras or tarp setups. All spare poles from Nordisk have screw-on caps, allowing you to shorten and adapt the poles for other uses, while maintaining the well-known quality of Nordisk. These poles are made from aluminium to provide a strong yet lightweight alternative to steel.
