Selvatica Tactical MID GTX is an advanced trekking shoe, mid-height and low-profile, that perfectly combines great breathability with exceptional support, stability, and shock absorption.

Designed primarily as trekking shoes, the Selvaticas are very versatile and practical on varied terrains during spring, summer, and autumn. With their well-thought-out design and great comfort, they are also suitable for military applications and standard everyday use.

The shoes are made from AIR8000® textile designed by AKU, rubber, and high-quality polymers in a matte and non-reflective colour palette. The shoes incorporate several modern technologies and patented solutions. The technology includes the Vibram® Selvatica Megagrip sole, IMS2 EVA midsole, Gore-Tex® membrane, Elica Natural Stride system, and OrthoLite® insoles.

The AIR8000® system increases breathability eleven times compared to similar textiles used in comparable boots. Even 20 years after its introduction, AIR8000® remains one of the most advanced technologies, ensuring exceptional breathability of the shoes. An additional thermal treatment on the polyurethane film enhances durability and minimises moisture absorption.

The Vibram® Selvatica Megagrip sole is injection-moulded from high-quality rubber with balanced traction that offers optimal performance on all terrains. The Elica Natural Stride system used in the construction features an anatomical sole that recreates the natural shape of the foot.

The injection-moulded EVA midsole provides foot stability and an exceptional fit for better comfort during extended use. The Gore-Tex membrane enhances breathability, waterproof resistance, and moisture wicking. The IMS2 technology has been applied to amplify the connection between the sole and the midsole and to provide optimal shock absorption and foot stabilization for greater comfort during extended use.

A redesigned quick-lacing system provides an easy and fast way to lace the boots. The materials used and reinforced construction of the lacing holes ensure high wear resistance and longevity of the system.
