Total cooling capacity

To maximise the performance of a radiator, Alphacool digs deep into the toolbox. Copper is the starting point. With a thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper, compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminium, the winner in this comparison is absolutely clear. The fin density is also chosen based on the user. Alphacool is one of the oldest companies in the field of water cooling and has conducted countless laboratory tests. The result is a fin density of 15 FPI. This means that the airflow is only slightly restricted so that air can flow without high pressure, but the cooling capacity does not suffer. On the contrary. To make the most of the airflow, all the cooling fins are equipped with small flaps. Some may recognise them from motorsport or aeronautical engineering. The flaps are small wings that direct airflow in the desired direction. In the case of the radiators, they measure barely 1 mm in height, yet still allow for control of air turbulence to enhance cooling performance and minimise airflow noise.

New generation of screw caps

All NexXxoS V.2 radiators rely on the new patented screw caps from Alphacool. Anyone who has installed a radiator at the front or top of a case knows that protruding screw caps can ruin the aesthetics because the radiator cannot sit flush. Alphacool offers a solution with the new patented screw caps. They are fully inserted into the radiator and flush with its surface. Thus, nothing obstructs a clean installation. Naturally, the radiators also look much sleeker with the new locking screws.

Numerous connection options

All versions of the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators have two connections for IN and OUT, one on each side. On the side opposite the inlets/outlets, the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators now have a filling or vent port. Of course, this connection can also be used to drain the water cooling loop. In any case, experienced users will be satisfied.

The right size for every application

NexXxoS V.2 radiators are available in all common sizes. From the compact 120 mm ST30 radiator to the 480 mm radiator for those who can never get enough cooling performance. Fans of 140 mm fans won't miss out either as Alphacool covers all sizes from 140 mm up to the massive 420 mm XT45 radiator. And to push it to the extreme, there are ST30 and XT45 versions for all radiators. They simply differ in thickness. ST30 corresponds to a thickness of 30 mm, while XT45 has a thickness of 45 mm.

Safety first

The NexXxoS V.2, like the previous NexXxoS radiators, offers special protection that prevents screws from penetrating the radiator when attaching fans or mounting the radiator on the case. Protective plates have been placed under all mounting holes to prevent screws from being screwed in too deeply. This protects the fins and cooling channels underneath.
