A choice of materials without compromise

Overall cooling capacity

To maximize the performance of a radiator, Alphacool digs deep into its toolbox. Copper is the starting point. With thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper, compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminium, the winner in this comparison is absolutely clear. The density of the fins is also chosen based on the user. Alphacool is one of the oldest companies in the water cooling field and has conducted countless lab tests. The result is a fin density of 15 FPI. This means that airflow is only slightly obstructed so that air can circulate with low pressure; however, the cooling capacity is not compromised. On the contrary. To make the most of the airflow, all cooling fins are equipped with small flaps. Some may know them from motorsport or aerospace construction. Alphacool offers a solution with its new patented screw caps. They are fully recessed into the radiator and sit flush with its surface. Thus, nothing obstructs a clean installation. Of course, the radiators also look much sleeker with the new locking screws.

Many connection options

All versions of the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators have two connections for IN and OUT, one on each side. On the side opposite to the IN/OUT ports, the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators now feature a filling or venting port. Naturally, this connection can also be used to drain the water cooling loop. In any case, experienced users will be satisfied.

The right size for every application

The NexXxoS V.2 radiators are available in all common sizes. From the compact ST30 radiator of 120 mm to the 480 mm radiator for those who can never get enough cooling performance. 140 mm fan lovers will also be catered for as Alphacool covers all sizes from 140 mm up to the massive XT45 radiator of 420 mm. And to push it all to the extreme, there are ST30 and XT45 versions for all radiators. These simply differ in thickness. ST30 corresponds to a thickness of 30 mm, while XT45 corresponds to a thickness of 45 mm.

Safety first

The NexXxoS V.2, like the previous NexXxoS radiators, offers special protection that prevents screws from penetrating the radiator when attaching fans or mounting the radiator to the case. Protective plates have been placed under all mounting holes to prevent screws from being driven too deeply. This protects the fins and cooling channels underneath.
