The 1991/92 season saw Sampdoria field several Italian superstars in their first match, including: Gianluca Pagliuca, Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Vialli. Unfortunately, they were unable to defend the title as they finished in 6th place. However, they came very close to winning the European Cup, suffering a 1-0 defeat against Barcelona in the final. Featuring an emblematic design, the 1991/92 Sampdoria jersey was lovingly recreated as a tribute to the moment when the club came as close as possible to conquering Europe. Made from high quality polyester, the shirt has a vintage cut and feel and also displays the original sponsor and badges.
