Research, performance, and safety. SPARK has once again improved its airbag vests. Thanks to these enhancements, the SPARK Hippodrome airbag vest is even more effective: with its new triggering system, it now inflates in less than 200 ms. Made from 600D polyester, it is strong and wear-resistant. The attachment link is quick and easy to secure. Excellent support is provided by a third clip. The SPARK Hippodrome airbag vest offers the rider optimal protection in case of a fall. The vest is attached to the saddle with a strap and inflates instantly when the horse and rider separate. It comes with a replaceable gas cartridge and protects the entire upper body, from the cervical vertebrae to the coccyx, by releasing air into the inner membrane when the cartridge is triggered. Once inflated, the vest absorbs shocks, cushioning the rider when they hit the ground while keeping their head stable. Lightweight and breathable, it can be worn over other clothing in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 45°C for guaranteed effectiveness. In terms of comfort, it is light, perfectly cut around the arms for total freedom of movement, and equipped with mesh panels for better breathability. Reflective piping provides enhanced visibility outdoors. The SPARK Hippodrome airbag vest is sold complete with a saddle attachment link and a SPARK CO² cartridge: 45 g for children's sizes XXS and XS, 50 g for adult sizes S and M, and 74 g for adult sizes L and XL. Please note: this vest should only be used with a SPARK cartridge. Using cartridges from another brand or not suited to the vest's size voids all warranties and liabilities of the manufacturer. The user assumes their own responsibility if using cartridges from another brand or that do not fit the vest size. Compliant with regulatory standard EU 2016/425 and certified by expert evaluation as conforming to standard NF S72-800:2022. The minimum height of the horse, H1, must be 120 cm. The children's model is triggered for a minimum weight of 30 kg. Therefore, do not use it with children weighing less than 30 kg.
