Multifunction climbing rope clamp Cric

Multifunctional rope clamp with pulley for mountaineering, rescue and rope access work. Robust, functional and intuitive, it can be used in four different modes: ascent device, pulley, blocker/pulley or recovery pulley.

Key features :

• its versatility, compactness and ease of use reduce the time, equipment and space required for manoeuvres to minimum;
• it allows rope ascension in compliance with EN 567 / EN 12841-B standards (ascender mode);
• it can be used as a simple pulley for lifting or moving a load in compliance with EN 12278 (pulley mode);
• the integrated ball-bearing sheave can be used as a direct link to facilitate the ascent of a rope or to lift a person without the need for additional connectors (blocker/pulley mode);
• it can be used to retrieve a load directly, create hoists and lift or self-lift a person, e.g. in the event of a fall into a crevasse (retrieval pulley mode);
• in pulley mode, the rope is free to run in both directions, while in recovery pulley mode it is free to run in one direction and locks in the opposite direction;
• in recovery pulley mode, the recovered load can be lowered by means of the cord connected to the device's cam;
• ergonomic opening by means of an intuitive knob allows installation rapide on the rope in the desired mode, even when wearing gloves or in unfavorable conditions;
• equipped with a toothed steel cam that protects the rope from wear but is just as effective at locking it in place. The cam also features two slots to reduce mud accumulation and maintain an effective grip on the rope in all conditions (muddy, icy rope, etc.).
