Unlike autres components, there are no specific standards for electric mountain bike pedals. And yet, the extra load and extended riding time demand a stiffer, stronger pedal body, for better durability.
Your favorite trails that weren't accessible for more than one or two tours, become easy to chain thanks to the motor. With all that extra riding time, there's all the more likelihood of the pedals taking a big hit along the way. That's why we've beefed up our Escape pedals, focusingaccent on the most heavily used parts to make them even stronger. Our E-Escape pedals have been designed for the most extreme use.
The 5mm-high steel pins offer excellent grip and are extremely robust! Their design also prevents damage to the threads in the pedal body in the event of worn spikes needing to be replaced.
