Stem WCS C220

You really can have it all - the new WCS C220 stem rivals the performance of the revolutionary C260 stem design, but is more rapide and easier to install and remove, thanks to a snap-on handlebar clamp interface and forward-facing hardware.

First proven on the Ritchey TRAIL stem, the C220 handlebar clamp design creates a more secure interface by wrapping 220° around the handlebar. Clamping forces are aligned with the clamp so that the stem body "hugs" the handlebars, which is less likely to damage lightweight hangers. This clamp design allows for a lighter faceplate and stem body without sacrificing strength or rigidity.

The Carbon Matrix stem body is 7075 forged aluminum with a stiffness-enhancing carbon exoskeleton, making this stem 12% stiffer than the C220 WCS alloy stem. Premium black stainless steel bolts are used throughout.
