The perfect surfboard for riding hollow waves! The Egg 6'6 from Prism Surfboards combines maneuverability, responsiveness, and performance. Trust Prism.
About the EGG 6'6 Prism Surfboards The Egg features a generous rocker, a shape that makes it manoeuvrable and very responsive in hollow waves. With more volume than a shortboard, it is more comfortable to paddle and ride. In big waves as well as in small ones, the egg 6'6 Prism Surfboards is reactive and lively for linking manoeuvres. The Egg 6'6 is a board that allows you to progress without getting stuck. Who is the EGG 6'6 Prism suitable for? The very versatile Egg 6'6 model from the PRISM range is suitable for surfers progressing and experienced weighing between 50 and 90 kg. Short and lightweight, this board will perform best in small to medium waves. The manufacturing of our boards benefits from strict specifications to achieve more durability with less weight: Air-conditioned lamination rooms to ensure an ideal humidity level for perfect drying (more durability with equal lamination). Vacuum lamination with a drain for excess resin: the fibreglass needs just the right amount of resin for proper saturation. The vacuum procedure ensures the resin penetrates the fibre, and the excess is drained away. Too much resin results in a heavier board, but more importantly, it becomes less durable as the fibreglass becomes brittle. Paulownia Eco Wood Concept Construction A new epoxy and paulownia wood sandwich construction (very lightweight and strong) that stiffens the board and ensures better material durability. Paulownia wood, also known as "aluminium wood," does not absorb water due to its low moisture content; it is very dense and allows for a watertight lamination under the epoxy coating. Our paulownia surfboards are much stronger than traditional epoxy surfboards.
