Hoof care for horses Strahl

This care solution is ideal for treating and preventing thrush. It makes the horn indigestible for the bacteria and fungi responsible for decay. It is the only way to return to the growth of healthy horn. The liquid KERALIT Strahl is a well-adhering solution, specialized for problem areas of the frog of the hooves. It helps to heal and regenerate damaged and decomposed soft horn. It is particularly useful when the lateral and central grooves are already softened and smelling bad. It directly neutralizes the harmful effects of ammonia or hydrogen sulfide from the stable bedding!

After 3 to 4 days of application, it becomes visible that the grooves of the frog dry out. The frog can resume healthy growth.

Usage:

Start by cleaning and drying the frog with a pad and a spatula. Do not rinse the frog, nor wash it with soap. Soap is alkaline and stimulates the growth of harmful fungi and bacteria. After careful cleaning, apply the liquid into the bottom of the grooves using the nozzle, in order to reach the deeper decay. It is also possible to apply a pad soaked with liquid KERALIT Strahl. However, it is important to avoid getting the pad stuck in the grooves.

In severe cases, apply the liquid KERALIT Strahl daily. After improvement, an application 2 to 3 times a week is sufficient. For prevention, apply weekly.
