Bay leaf ointment

The laurel ointment KERALIT is a blend of active and natural care substances, in a high-quality water-soluble base. It contains 20% pure laurel oil. Thanks to their hydrophilic properties, these dissolved substances can ideally penetrate the horn and the coronet. They improve growth and the hoof mechanism. The water-soluble nature of the ointment allows the hoof to freely absorb and release moisture, even when applied repeatedly. This helps maintain the hoof’s moisture balance. Traditional fats do not allow this as they seal the pores for several days. The laurel ointment KERALIT enhances the moisture balance of the horn, which facilitates blood circulation in the hoof when the horse moves. The increased elasticity of the hoof improves the metabolism of the coronet, and consequently, the growth of the hoof.

Usage:

This ointment can be applied to damp or dry hooves. Rub it into the coronet. It is recommended to apply it 2 to 3 times a week in the coronet area.
