Keralysine ointment

Dissolves scabs gently. The skin area affected by a pastern dermatitis, eczema or a closed wound is often covered with a very adhesive scab that sticks to the skin and coat. These scabs can prevent proper treatment of the pathogens they cover. The very fluid oils in the keralysine ointment KERALIT penetrate, soften and detach them. The scabs can then be removed without irritating or hurting the skin, often after just one application and allowing it to rest overnight. Disinfectants and therapeutic preparations prescribed in addition can then achieve their full effectiveness. The keralysine ointment KERALIT is particularly useful for Friesians and other horses with long feathers on their pasterns, as it allows for treatment without the need to shave them.
