A system attached to the rear of the saddle, where the rails are inserted into the shell, allows the shell to be flexible and move with the rider's body when riding on rough trails or on long bikepacking trips. The addition of shock absorbers enables the Regal Short to absorb much more shock than traditional saddles. 40 years after its first introduction, the Regal Short design has been updated.
