The two rings allow for adjustable bit pressure and a leverage effect on the bit. The double-jointed anatomical design distributes pressure across the tongue and the bars of the mouth, encouraging acceptance and contact. Bit thickness: 15 mm. Rein height: 125 mm (4.5", 5"), 145 mm (5.5"). The blue sweet iron bits oxidise easily to create warmth with a sweet taste, which aids in bit acceptance and encourages salivation. Please note that the blue colour will fade with use. Stainless steel is used for the reins due to its durability, ease of cleaning, and rust resistance.
