Main feature: Very rigid, low wear. Area of use: Superbike and GT, recommended up to 1,300cc. The new ZVM-X series D.I.D has greater rigidity. Originating from the Superbike World Championship, engineers at D.I.D continuously improve chain design to make the most of the enormous power loads of today's high-performance motorcycles. Traditionally, tensile strength is the reference standard for classifying chain quality, but tensile strength is only a static lab measure of a chain's breaking point. Rigidity, on the other hand, is a chain's ability to withstand loads during both everyday riding and on a track. Increased rigidity means better power transfer to the ground, greater resistance to stretching under load, and improved use of our current hyper-sport motorcycles.
