Product information for "1 Star Ping Pong Ball Elite Poly 40+, 3x White / 3x Orange" The Elite 1* plastic ping pong ball is designed for advanced recreational play. 3 balls in the most common colour, white, and 3 balls in orange for better visibility thanks to a higher colour contrast. Diameter: ø 40mm, in the new Poly 40+ quality. Since July 2014, traditional celluloid balls have been replaced at ITTF tournaments and gradually in most high-level leagues by new plastic balls. Plastic balls are manufactured in a more environmentally friendly way while having comparable playing characteristics. They are generally distinguished by the "40+" marking from traditional celluloid balls. Schildkröt's history in producing ping pong balls goes back a long way.
