X-CURSION VARIO F.L.K. - All-terrain poles Gabel

The X-Cursion Vario FLK poles are adjustable length all-mountain poles. They are particularly ideal for expert skiers trying out ski mountaineering, freeriding, or snowshoeing. They come with the Biomatrix grip, a handle designed to fit the shape of the hand ergonomically.

The Biomatrix is complemented by the Touring foam, an extension of the soft foam grip that offers more gripping points, useful on rough terrain and during climbing. The grip also features the Click system, a safety mechanism that allows you to release the World Cup strap via a button, which automatically releases in case of sudden falls, with a minimum force of 40 kg.

The pole is made of two sections with diameters of 16 mm and 12 mm joined together in a telescopic manner. The upper section is made of F60 aluminium, while the lower section is made of carbon with a Kevlar coating. The combination of Kevlar, carbon, and aluminium results in a strong yet lightweight model. It is adjustable from 100 to 140 cm in height and offers excellent balance between the upper and lower parts. The sections are secured using the Multi Lock system, which consists of two locking mechanisms, one internal and one external. Internally, the T.P.L. (Top Performance Locking) creates a double friction point, enhancing the grip of the Mono Lock tightening technology.

Thanks to the Multi Fit Carbide tip, these poles provide excellent grip not only on snow and ice but also on granite terrain, stones, and rocks.
