Battlax Racing Street RS11 - The favourite of premium sports bikes

The new flagship product in the Racing Street segment, which offers impressive grip and handling performance, has already proven to be faster than its predecessor - the RS10 - with two seconds less on a two-minute lap. It is also the first urban-oriented tyre to incorporate the V-MS-Belt construction from Bridgestone, tested in competition. The Battlax Racing Street RS11 is the tyre of choice for many manufacturers when unveiling their new premium sports bikes, officially equipping the Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M; Kawasaki H2 and H2 Carbon; Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and GSX-R 1000 R. However, other models are already in the pipeline.

The Battlax Racing Street RS11 features tread blocks that ensure exceptional grip on dry surfaces, inspired directly by the grooved racing tyre R11. It also offers excellent behaviour at the contact patch. The rigidity and stability of the rear tyre have been improved with the addition of a “Cap and Base” configuration. Both front and rear tyres use a 3LC rubber compound, unmatched in terms of performance and longevity. At the rear, the V-MS-Belt construction optimises the tread rigidity, increasing the contact patch at the shoulder and maximising grip during significant lean angles in corners. The fine carbon particles integrated into the compound used for the shoulder enhance grip, allowing the rider to navigate curves at high speed, with maximum lean - and with full confidence.
