A tyre worthy of standing alongside the legendary K60 Scout, the K60 Ranger is designed and developed to be the off-road cousin of the K60 family. It is not just a Scout with a different tread pattern. Heidenau started from scratch with a completely new carcass and compound to maximise off-road performance.
Tread design
The new tread pattern of the K60 Ranger is designed for dirt bikes and larger motorcycles. While the open block design should prevent the tread from clogging, the compound and carcass should ensure stability on the road. With features aimed at ensuring the integrity of the side blocks, the K60 Ranger should be effective on track or highway.
