GPR exhaust compatible with KTM RC 8 R 2008-2014, New Grand Prix Evo Black Titanium, approved and legal, complete exhaust system with catalyst and removable db killer.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
The new Grand Prix Evo Black Titanium silencer from GPR has been created to celebrate its 20 years of presence in the MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 World Championship. The first Grand Prix line was presented in 2005, during the debut of the Konica Minolta Team and rider Makoto Tamada, as well as the LCR Team and rider Casey Stoner. The silencer is tapered, with a special shape ranging from a diameter of 90 mm to 130 mm in circumference and a variable length depending on the motorcycle. It is equipped with a black titanium sleeve treated with ceramic resistant to high temperatures, and CNC machined plugs with pentagonal outlet and db killer.

Db killers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the tamper-proof screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
