Are dbkillers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, seeking immediate information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the purchase date, the right to repair is allowed with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
