The new Ryan Lovelace quad is his revamped version of the Piggyback Quad, a model we've been producing for quite a while now. This set is a bit more modern, with some subtle tweaks aimed at enhancing the performance of the concept. The front fin is perfectly balanced for a quad: it measures about 4½ inches, with a slight rake and a more tapered tip. The rear fin, on the other hand, remains fairly short and straight (but larger than the previous version), providing a slightly "skatey" feel without losing control. This set is ideal for twin fin lovers who want to explore quads.
Together, these fins generate speed, ensure smooth transitions from rail to rail, and offer a great flow in small to slightly overhead waves. There's clearly an extra zing with these quads, which could unlock a new sense of freedom for you.
