The strap can be adjusted to keep the foot on the ski. This way, the hand/foot strap can be used to support the movement sequence and to hold on to the exercise. When the slider is raised, the foot is no longer secured to the ski, and counter-pressure must be created between the foot and the board by the hand-foot strap to maintain contact. Here, it's not only about walking in sync but also coordinating the movements of hands and feet!
