This HAMMAR H20 E Hydrostatic Replacement Kit for MT4xx/6xx allows the EPIRB to activate automatically, upon contact with water.
As soon as it reaches a depth of 2 to 6 meters, the hydrostatic hook is activated and the EPIRB is released from its housing which will automatically start sending the emergency message.
