Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise; the customer must verify beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95 dB for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions included in the package or to watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without torch, and without license plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must accept to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
