Such as the use of durable, high-quality Perwanger leather for the upper, or the 100% recycled fabric element in the upper that complies with the "Global Recycling Standard," as well as the waterproof membrane without PFC. Waterproof, breathable, durable – HANWAG has designed its exclusive PU membrane based on a complex hydrophilic system that offers waterproofing and breathability without using fluorocarbons. This is applied in a robust three-layer laminate. All materials come from European suppliers, and the shoe is made entirely in Europe. But durability and longevity shouldn't come at the expense of functionality and comfort. And the perfect fit of the Blueridge Low ES, along with its new midsole, proves that! The raised edge of the stabilising PU sole provides better support on all sides and at the heel. With a slip-resistant "Terragrip" outsole featuring a 4 millimetre deep pattern, extra-large lugs, and a wider contact area, heel impact and roll are effortless and smooth. This makes the modern-styled Blueridge Low ES comfortable on a variety of hiking trails – from damp, autumnal foothills to sandy Mediterranean coastal hikes.
