Environmentally friendly: hand-woven lining made from recycled yarn.
This article contributes to support the economy of the families living in the remote villages of Bangladesh, and especially supports the work of the women thus avoiding the desertification of these villages.
100% vegetable fiber. 70% cotton / 25% polyester / 5% autres fibers (lining). Basket hand woven from seaweed fiber. The inner lining is handwoven from recycled yarn (80% cotton, 20% polyester) on traditional Bangladeshi looms, called "Tant". The traditional weaving gives a special and unique handmade look to the fabric.
This basket is part of the collection "Handloom recycled project" resulting from a collaboration between the brand Kimood and the company HandTouch, member of ECOTA: Organization for Fair Trade in Bangladesh. This article contributes to support the economy of families living in remote villages of Bangladesh, and especially promotes the work of women avoiding the desertification of these villages.
