Are db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, it is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check whether the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is NOT ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without side bags, without flashlight, and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
