Whether you're a professional photographer looking for a lens for your next job, or an amateur looking to expand your champ experience - the Irix 150 mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens is a macro lens created for your full-frame (35 mm) camera and is available in the Nikon F, Canon EF and Pentax K mounts.

Thelens lets you take macro photos with a magnification ratio of 1:1. When using a camera with an APS-C sensor, due to the cropping factor, the magnification ratio increases to 1.5:1.

The sealing system has been designed to protect the inside of the lens from moisture, dust and sand. Just as importantly, the lens does not change its dimensions when focusing point, eliminating the risk of dirt particles being carried into the internal structure.

Thanks to years of experience in optical design, the Irix 150 mm f/2.8 Macro 1: 1 lens has been meticulously engineered for incredible sharpness. The optical design has been thought out to produce an extremely sharp image from f /2.8. The use of 11 blades with rounded apertures not only results in extremely smooth, soft bokeh , but also minimizes the phenomenon of diffraction (reduced resolution associated with aperture stop). With an extra stop, image sharpness is further improved, which is crucial in macro photography, as we are often obliged to use small aperture values to obtain a sufficiently large depth of champ.

INTELLIGENT LENS DESIGN

TheIrix 150 mm f/2.8 Macro 1: 1 features a module that lets you control thelens diaphragm directly from thecamera, thanks to popular semi-automatic modes (PASM) and EXIF data recording.

The use of electronics also allows thelens to be equipped with a focus confirmation system point - thecamera announces the correct focus setting point (as an icon in the viewfinder or with a sound), every time you set the focus correctly point - it's simple and convenient!

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Focus Lock - lets you lock the focus ring point in a specific position. This is extremely beneficial when you want to be sure to set the correct magnification ratio, e.g. 1:1 while shooting.

Tripod clamp ( Arca Swiss standard) - macro photography requires extraordinary precision. We have good news for all photographers using a tripod: thanks to the tripod collar, you can securely attach your camera to thelens. Thanks to this solution, the center of gravity of thecameralens remains neutral, and vibrations associated with focusing point and camera operation are minimized.

Focus Ring - when shooting small elements, the depth of champ usually covers only a few millimeters or less, so it's important that sharpness is precise. The angle of rotation of the focus ring point on theIrix 150 mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 is up to 270 degrees, guaranteeing extremely smooth, precise sharpness.

Focus ring ergonomics point - After extensive testing, we have developed a ring material characterized by its high mechanical strength and resistance to adverse conditions. A special texture ensures reliable and precise focusing point, and dedicated raised positions let you feel the ring's position even without looking for it, making focusing point even easier.
