Lightness and responsiveness are guaranteed by the 700C carbon rim with asymmetrical "S-Shape" profile. This technology provides a better balance of spoke tension. Optimized balancing also means that high performance is maintained over time. What's more, the special shape of the rim profile provides a 2.5% increase in lateral rigidity compared with a traditional U-shaped profile.

For maximum performance with tubeless tires, Rapid Red Carbon rims feature a 2WF undrilled wall - for tubeless tires. The undrilled wall also benefits from the C-Lux Finish mirror finish, which facilitates tire mounting.
Finally, the wheel assembly also features Mo-Mag technology, which positions the nut on the rim hole by means of a magnet.

In terms of geometry, the rim features a 30 mm high profile, equipped with a "mini-hook" system that extends compatibility to a wider range of pressures. The dimensional precision of Fulcrum also guarantees greater security against undercutting at low pressures, thanks to the greater available cover bearing surface linked to the increased internal channel of 25 mm.
