Connector 1.3 Shimano (EP8) E-Tube

A new adjustment chip for your electric bike with a motor Shimano in a redesigned, completely new hardware and firmware.
The SpeedBox 1.3 adjustment chip enables you to deactivate the speed limiter on your electric bike. After installing the chip, actual data up to 23 km/h are displayed on the electric bike's screen.

Unlike previous versions, this new product for Shimano engines also connects to the engine's port E-Tube. It is therefore necessary that the bike engine on which you wish to install the new version of SpeedBox for Shimano has a free Port E-Tube. It is not possible to install SpeedBox for Shimano products if the motor does not have a free port E-Tube.

Electric bikes with, for example, a Di2 electronic derailleur or an ignition button integrated into the top tube: Satellite System On/Off Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300) generally do not have a free Port E-Tube.

How does SpeedBox 1.3 work?

When the lights are off, you can drive at unlimited speed. You can deactivate the chip function by simply switching on the lights. If you want to use tuning independently of the lights, don't connect the red fork terminal during installation, so SpeedBox will always be active. If you have no lights on your bike, SpeedBox 1.3 will also always remain active.

Installation
We use original connectors to produce SpeedBox chips, so chip installation will be really easy and the connection will be correct. We have written detailed instructions and produced videos that will enable every customer to install SpeedBox by lui-même. Removing the adjustment chip is just as easy as assembling it.
