The new SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning offers a unique connection between electric bike and cell phone. The chip is optimized in every detail for maximum performance and riding pleasure. The chip deactivates the bike's speed limit, allowing you to ride at unlimited speed. With the SpeedBox app, you can track and record all your riding parameters on your phone screen. How does SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning work?
Our latest chip is easy to use. You can activate it via the mobile app or on the screen of your electric bike. After briefly activating the WALK function, the display briefly shows 9.9 km/h, from which point you can ride at unlimited speed.

To deactivate the chip, reactivate the WALK function. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit reapplies. The electric bike works as before the chip was installed.

We're also ready for electric bikes that don't have a conventional control panel with WALK function. In this case, simply use the + - + - button combination to activate SpeedBox. The application can be deactivated in the same way.

When you activate the SpeedBox application for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a PIN code that you must define yourself. This PIN code must be used every time the SpeedBox application is started. After registering the PIN, you will also be asked to set the service password, which will be useful if you forget your PIN or wish to change it.

To set the maximum speed, you can switch from one mode to another: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The current speed limit is displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the steering wheel through 360°. The 1.5 km/h display corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, and so on. The last limit displayed is saved after five seconds of inactivity.

When using SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (year 2020 and above), the electric bike must be switched on after the end of the journey until the display shows a constant speed of 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the display shows a speed of 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the display shows the time remaining (in minutes). You can then safely switch off the bike and look forward to your next ride.

The SpeedBox app specially designed for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning uses Bluetooth technology to connect your electric bike to your cell phone. Once you've downloaded the app and connected your cell phone to the bike, you can view current data and riding parameters on the phone's display. This makes it possible to record information on all your outings, compare them with those of your friends and track your own performance. So you can enjoy your ride to the full and leave the parameter checking for later.
