The SpeedBox 3.1 chip deactivates the bike's speed limitation. Once the chip has been installed, you can view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage and range.

How does SpeedBox 3.1 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 3.1 chip in the electric bike controller. After pressing the WALK button, the display briefly shows 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), from which point on you are no longer limited. You can drive at : 40 km/h (25 mph), 50 km/h (30 mph) or over 60 km/h (37 mph).

To deactivate the chip, press the WALK button again. The display shows 2.5 km/h and the 25 km/h speed limit reactivates. The electric bike operates as before the chip was installed.

When you activate the SpeedBox application for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a PIN code that you must define yourself. This PIN code must be used every time you start the SpeedBox application. After registering the PIN, you will also be asked to set the service password, which will be useful if you forget your PIN or wish to change it.

We're also ready for electric bikes that don't have a conventional control panel with Walk button. In this case, simply use the + - + - button combination and SpeedBox will be activated. It can also be deactivated.

To set the maximum speed, you can change mode by going down three levels, then up three levels. The current speed limit is displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or turn the steering wheel through 360°. 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last limit displayed is saved after five seconds of inactivity.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning work?
Our latest chip is easy to use. You can activate it via the mobile app or on the display of your electric bike. After pressing the WALK button, the display briefly shows 9.9 km/h, and from then on you're no longer limited. You can ride at : 40 km/h (25 mph), 50 km/h (30 mph) or over 60 km/h (37 mph).

To deactivate the chip, press the WALK button again. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit reactivates. The electric bike works as before the chip was installed.

When using SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (year 2020 and above), the electric bike must be switched on after the end of the journey until the display shows a constant speed of 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the display shows a constant speed of 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the display shows the time remaining (in minutes). Then the bike can be safely switched off and you can look forward to your next ride.

The SpeedBox application specially designed for SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning uses Bluetooth technology to connect your electric bike to your cell phone. Download the SpeedBox application onto your phone before ordering the SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning chip. This will allow you to test the demo version, discover all the functions and ensure that the application works perfectly on your phone. To connect to the SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning chip, your phone must be equipped with Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher.

Mounting
