Speed limiter 3.2 Bafang

Smart third-generation product with the ability to adjust the speed limit of your electric bike.

The tuning product SpeedBox 3.2 allows for arbitrary configuration of electric speed limiters. After installing the tuning, you will be able to view actual values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.

How does SpeedBox 3.2 work?

You can activate it via the mobile app or on your electric bike's screen. After pressing the LIGHT button or + - + -, the screen will briefly display 99 km/h (62 mph) and from that moment, you will no longer be limited.

To turn off the tuning, press the LIGHT button or + - + - again. The screen will display 25 km/h (16 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit will be reactivated. The electric bike will operate as it did before the tuning was installed.

We are also ready for electric bikes that do not have a standard control panel with the LIGHT button. In this case, simply use the button combination + - + - and then SpeedBox will activate. Similarly, it can be deactivated.

To set the maximum speed, you can change the modes three levels down and then three levels up. The current speed limit will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the LIGHT button or rotate the dial 360°. The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity.

Installation

To connect the SpeedBox chip to an electric bike, we use colour-coded connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, so the chip is really easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing SpeedBox. Removing the SpeedBox is just as easy as installing it. If you want SpeedBox on a new bike, you must first ride at least 1 kilometre on the bike.
