Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws, or removing the bracket is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations on public roads.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If any problems arise during the installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If purchasing online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight or number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the transformation into racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty and any claim will be denied. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
