Are the db killers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this can only be done for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed by a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It is intended to be mounted in a high-level position. No structural modification to the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and without number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
