New spool, new brake, new frame!

Daiwa engineers have focused on casting distances to develop the new Tatula reel Elite, at the request of American BassMaster competitors, also ambassadors Daiwa. As a result, the combination of SV and TWS technologies has made further progress. The SV concept adapts the inertia of the spool to the weight of the lure and the force of the cast. When the spool slows down, the champ magnet strengthens to control the cast until the lure lands. With its ultra-light SV spool and TWS roller whose position can be adjusted when casting or retrieving line, this reel can be used to cast small lures at great distances as well as large swimbaits. Its aluminium body is even more compact than that of the Tatula SV TW, and houses robust, reliable mechanics for fighting big pike. What's more, the Zaion carbon star drag features a small-format, pre-programmed aluminium adjustment system. This means that only the magnetic brake setting is needed to adjust spool retention and optimize casting.

  • Star brake (in Zaion carbon) with new small-format pre-programmed aluminium brake adjustment, so only the magnetic brake adjustment is needed.
  • Bearings: 7 + 1
  • Aluminium frame and flange
  • Ultralight 34 mm A7075 aluminum spool with rapide spool-out system
  • 90 mm double crank handle, "Swept Handle" profile, with oversized non-slip grips
  • Magnetic brake with 20 adjustment ranges
  • Air Rotation System: offers extremely smooth rotation
  • Left-hand crank
