The Maxxis REAVER tyre is the fast gravel tyre thanks to its tread, low profile, and lightweight construction. The tread pattern uses diamond-shaped lugs to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip in dusty or loose conditions. The grooves arranged in groups of three provide better grip during sudden braking, while the closely spaced side knobs are staggered to ensure consistent traction in corners. A siping (groove) in each of the side knobs allows them to flex and adapt to the terrain, thus enhancing traction.
