SMRT ALERT
Portable beacon MOB AIS, DSC, Class M
The distress beacon MOB AIS sMRT ALERT is a revolutionary man overboard device that combines AIS (Automatic Identification System) and VHF DSC (Digital Selective Calling) technologies to enhance location and rescue in emergency situations (sending 2 man overboard signals). The GNSS GPS + Galileo satellite combination, along with AIS targeting via VHF, communicates the live and regularly updated position of the person in the water, thereby facilitating search and rescue operations. Sound and visual information allow users to fully control the beacon. It includes a management app to connect to a smartphone, making it easier to use and check its activation status. Meeting the new standards required by Division 219 (Awaiting ANFR validation of the beacon for Division 219) for individuals working alone on a boat, this beacon is designed to be worn on a life jacket, thus providing increased personal safety. Its activation can be manual or triggered by contact with water using the "True Water Activation" system (more than two seconds).
VHF DSC
All nearby vessels are automatically alerted to the man overboard situation via DSC.
AIS
The live location of the person in the water is regularly updated and displayed via AIS.
DOUBLE GNSS
Combines GPS and Galileo GNSS receivers for accelerated detection.
CLASS M
Complies with the European regulation ECC/DEC/(22)02.
APPLICATION
Compatible with smartphones via NFC and the app sMRT.
