The ultimate 3-layer jacket, fully loaded with differentiators, designed for adventurers and hikers who want to brave all riding conditions. The Chieftane consists of removable layers attached to the outer shell by our internally developed Easy Cuff™. This system uses jackets instead of buckles and snap fasteners, preventing loose and floating layers inside your jacket. The waterproof membrane is detachable, as is the thermal lining which can also be worn as a standalone garment. The loops you find in this jacket are part of the Electric Power Guide™, or EPG for short. This differentiator allows you to comfortably run wires inside your jacket while powering heated garments like gloves. Ventilation is plentiful. The chest features large panels, and the arms are equipped with a large zipper at the front and another at the back of the upper arm. The back of the jacket also has a large panel for air to flow easily. Another differentiator of the outer shell is that the fabric is covered with tiny parabolic antennas that reflect light back to its source. The Night Eye™ makes you more visible when it really matters without making you look like a road worker or a traffic sign. The back includes a Hydro Pocket and a built-in TPR kidney belt, the same material used for the shoulder backpack reinforcements. A membrane deteriorates more quickly when a backpack is worn, which the reinforcements help to avoid. At the elbow, we’ve installed a new protective element based on our internal impact protectors. We call it EXO RISC™. Our level 2 RISC™ impact protectors are present at the shoulders and elbows. RISC™ protectors for the back and chest are available separately and can be easily placed in the designated compartment. Be sure to check the size chart before purchasing a back protector. If that’s not enough, this jacket is also prepared for additional differentiators. At the top of the back, you’ll find a pocket for our LED Vision 2C lamp. On the chest, two loops allow you to attach our Vision Tech vest. The jacket will stay in place when you put on or take off the jacket. The Chieftane is what we call an adventurous motorcycle garment!
