Headset Parachute MCR

The MET Parachute MCR is our convertible full-face helmet designed for Enduro, Trail, and E-MTB riding.

Equipped with the MIPS-C2® system and certified to ASTM 1952-15/2032-15 standards for the shell and chinbar, the Parachute MCR offers maximum protection against rotational and linear impacts.

The Parachute MCR is designed to be a true two-in-one helmet. In full-face mode, it has a stylish and aggressive look and provides complete protection. In jet mode, it takes on the look of our All-Mountain helmets.

MCR stands for Magnetic Chinbar Release, allowing for instant conversion of the helmet from full-face to jet and vice versa. MCR is a revolutionary MET system, created in partnership with Fidlock®.

The visor is adjustable in two positions and allows for perfect compatibility with goggles and sunglasses. Additionally, it is made from a flexible plastic that limits the transfer of torsional forces to the neck during an impact.

Fit and comfort are excellent, thanks to the inclusion of two sizes of padding in the box and the BOA-FS1® system, which features precise and secure micrometric adjustment. The 360° head belt eliminates any pressure points, optimizing comfort and stability.

The Fidlock closure buckle makes it easy and quick to fasten the helmet.

Using the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the MET Parachute is designed to slip relative to the head in the event of an impact. Indeed, the head is separated from the helmet by a low-friction liner and is connected to the helmet by elastomers, allowing for movement of 10-15mm in all directions and redirecting harmful rotational forces.
