For the helmet foams:

The SET A of foams (which goes at the bottom of the helmet and at the front) is included in the price of the helmet. The SET B of foams (which goes on the sides) is to be purchased in addition to the helmet. Both types of foams are absolutely necessary when wearing the helmet. The foams are machine washable at 30 degrees, and should not be tumble dried.

You have 5 years warranty from the date of manufacture of the helmet to request a revision of your helmet.

The Galuchat collection is the premium version of the helmets in the Premium collection, made up of a band of galuchat leather and a matching triangle.

Personalisation of your helmet Antarès

If you wish, you can change the colors of the strap, the headband, and the triangle of this model to have a unique helmet. In its classic version, these elements are chrome. You can choose your helmet customisation colors according to your desires!

Composition of your Premium Galuchat Eclipse strass riding helmet

The shell

The outer shell of the helmet is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the energy of the shock over the surface of the helmet. When your helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave by dissipating it. Rigid and lightweight, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.

The inner padding

Made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), it absorbs the energy emitted by the shock by contracting. The padding thus becomes much denser. Its density varies according to the sizes of our helmets. To see the consequences of a shock on the padding, consult our blog article.

The vents

Its 4 front vents and 2 rear extractors ensure good air circulation. Thermal regulation is therefore improved.

The retention system

The harness provides a secure fit of the helmet on the rider's head. It consists of 3 points. The Y shape of the fixing system has points that are further apart, which reduces the rotation of the helmet. The straps are made of nylon and the buckles from POM.

Bonus: the Antarès harnesses are made from leather scraps from our custom saddles. Aesthetic and responsible!

The helmet pads

In contact with the rider's head, the high-quality foams ensure a perfect fit of your riding helmet and optimal comfort. Whether your head shape is round or oval, they will adapt to your morphology. Removable, these internal pads can be regularly taken out and cleaned to maintain the helmet's cleanliness. Made in Italy, they are breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified, and hand washable in lukewarm water.

The foams are sold with the helmet.

The Eclipse visor

The Eclipse visor, designed for a female clientele. Very trendy and elegant, it is inspired by women's hats. It protects riders from the sun while affirming their femininity. The wide visor has been designed to protect the skin from the sun and outdoor climate aggressions without compromising the wide field of vision essential for any discipline. The European standard EN1384-2017 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. The visors of the Antarès helmets are therefore intentionally flexible. If deformed, they can be manually reshaped to restore their original form.

The helmet bag is ideal for protecting and transporting your helmet easily. It is thoughtfully designed with a large central pocket and a big zipper to make storing the helmet easier.

Helmet Safety

The riding helmet is critically important for the safety of any rider, regardless of their level. All our models have CE marking and SEI certification. They have successfully passed the EN1384-2017 / VG1 01.040 2014-12 standards.

Please pay particular attention to your helmet. As our shock tests demonstrate, the safety of it is no longer optimal if the padding has retracted. And this even without any visible signs of a fall. This is why it is necessary to replace your riding helmet after a shock.

We recommend replacing the helmet at most 5 years after the date of purchase even in the absence of a shock or damage.
