In 1978, the Bensimon received 100,000 pairs of white gym tennis from the French army. Serge dyed these tennis. After a real research effort and a long development process, he developed a technique to colour the canvas without spilling over onto the rubber. Bam, inspired by this experience, Serge imagined a new model: the famous tennis with laces. Iconic, timeless, always in style, essential… The tennis with laces is like the white shirt: everyone should have (at least) one pair in their wardrobe. A model that hasn’t aged a bit since 1979 and is still passed down from generation to generation. This colour is part of the basics: it goes with everything and doesn’t have an expiry date.
