Stem FTL

The Pride Racing stem is designed for BMX Race use. Neither TopLoad nor FrontLoad, the FTL is presented as a Front/Top Load stem. This piece was made at the request of a top rider Pride Racing, Renaud Blanc. This stem allows you to lower your riding position, making the bike even more responsive and playful. With its very low rise, it has a flat surface on the underside of the stem to avoid any contact with the top tube of the frame in case of a fall. This stem is made from 6061-T6 Aluminium, CNC machined from a single block. It comes with M8 stainless steel bolts from DIN 912 standard.

The clamping surface area for the handlebars is 48mm, which adds stiffness while riding. This stem is also available in a length of 35mm, making the FTL the shortest stem on the BMX Race market currently. Having a stem in 35mm allows you to compensate with the size of the Top Tube. If you're planning to change to a bigger frame and the rider area seems too large, you can compensate with a 35mm long stem.

NOTE: You can also choose titanium bolts, which saves you 50g on the overall weight of your stem.
