SIZES

The foam of your helmet will determine the final size of your helmet. Here are the foams corresponding to each shell size:

• Shell S: foams 52, 53, 54, 55, S56
• Shell M: foams M56, 57, 58, 59
• Shell L: foams 60, 61, 62

The helmet JOCKEY SKULL is designed to provide jockeys with a next-generation level of protection, featuring two shell variations: carbon fibre or ABS. Inspired by VORONOÏ technology, it maintains temporal protection while adopting a sleek design without a visor. Available in Black Gloss, it has a distinctive dragonfly on the temporal protection.

Materials and construction

The shell of the JOCKEY SKULL CARBON is made from carbon fibre, a technological material whose woven fibre structure offers exceptional impact resistance and unmatched lightness.

In-molding consists of a polycarbonate sheet directly overmoulded onto the internal shell, creating an additional protective barrier between the outer shell and the EPS foam.

For the internal shell, the combination of the external carbon shell and in-molding technology allows the use of low-density EPS foam, especially absorbent in the event of a shock.

Temporal protection

The JOCKEY SKULL CARBON benefits from the temporal protection developed by FREEJUMP, reducing the risk of concussion in the most fragile area of the skull. This innovative protection distributes the shockwave over an enlarged surface and helps limit serious injuries related to trauma of the meningeal artery.

Ventilation

The JOCKEY SKULL CARBON offers subtle and functional ventilation with three strategically placed vents: one at the front to capture air, and two at the back to expel it. This system ensures effective thermal regulation while maintaining a sleek design.

The inner lining is equipped at the front with an ABS half-moon (clipped to the front edge of the inner shell) featuring 2 openings directing air flow as it enters the helmet.

Safety and comfort

An integrated rib between the top of the shell and the lower temporal area reinforces the structure and provides crush resistance well above standards.

The helmet JOCKEY SKULL CARBON is certified according to the EN 1384-2023 standard.

The inner lining is made with high-quality Italian fabric to maximise comfort, breathability, and head support. It is detachable and washable (wash at 30 °C and air dry) to ensure comfort and hygiene.

The JOCKEY SKULL CARBON is extremely lightweight for unmatched comfort (+/- 550 g).

The JOCKEY SKULL CARBON is available in three shell sizes: S and M. The inner lining is available in a wide range of sizes from 52 cm to 59 cm.
