SIZES

The foam for your helmet will determine the final size of your helmet. Here are the foams corresponding to each shell size:

• Shell S: foams 52, 53, 54, 55, S56
• Shell M: foams M56, 57, 58, 59
• Shell L: foams 60, 61, 62

The JOCKEY SKULL helmet is designed to offer jockeys a next-generation level of protection, with two shell options: carbon fibre or ABS. Inspired by VORONOI technology, it maintains temporal protection while adopting a sleek, visorless design. Available in Black Gloss, it features a distinctive dragonfly on the temporal protection.

Materials and construction

The shell of the JOCKEY SKULL is made from high-quality thermoplastic polymer to provide exceptional impact resistance.

In-molding involves a polycarbonate sheet directly overmolded onto the inner shell, creating an additional protective barrier between the outer shell and the EPS foam.

For the inner shell, the combination of high-quality ABS thermoplastic outer shell and in-molding technology allows for the use of low-density EPS foam, particularly absorbent in the event of an impact.

Temporal protection

The JOCKEY SKULL features temporal protection developed by FREEJUMP, reducing the risk of concussion in the most fragile area of the skull. This innovative protection distributes the shock wave over a larger surface area and helps limit serious injuries related to trauma of the meningeal artery.

Ventilation

The JOCKEY SKULL offers understated, functional ventilation with three strategically placed vents: one at the front to capture air, and two at the back to release it. This system ensures effective thermal regulation while maintaining a sleek design.

The inner lining is equipped, at the front, with a half-moon in ABS (secured to the front edge of the inner shell) featuring 2 openings directing the airflow upon entering the helmet.

Safety and comfort

An integrated rib between the upper part of the shell and the lower temporal part strengthens the structure and provides crush resistance well above standards.

The JOCKEY SKULL helmet is certified to the EN 1384-2023 standard.

The inner lining is made with high-quality Italian fabric to maximise comfort, breathability, and head support. It is detachable and washable (30 °C wash and natural drying) to ensure comfort and hygiene.

The JOCKEY SKULL is extremely lightweight for unparalleled comfort (+/- 550 g).

The JOCKEY SKULL is available in three shell sizes: S and M. The inner lining is available in a wide range of sizes from 52 cm to 59 cm.
